Newcastle Courant 24 May 1783: brown bay mare stolen fron Trumpington

From the POLICE - Public Office, Bow-Street, London, May 9, 1783.

STOLEN about a week since, from a field at Trumpington, near Cambridge, a BROWN BAY MARE, about 14 hands and a half high, aged; has a white spot or two on the off withers, occasioned by the saddle, and turns out her hocks as she walks; has black legs and feet, a cut tail, and carries it low.

Whoever will give such notice to the above office, as may be the means of recovering the said Mare, shall receive Five Guineas reward from the owner.
