Bury and Norwich Post 9 Mar 1808: Musgrave pig killed; Maris sheep under snow

Early on Sunday se’nnight two men went into a hog-stye in Mr. Musgrave’s farm-yard at Trumpington, killed a pig weighing nine stone, and carried it away undetected.

An ewe and lamb the property of Mr. Maris , of Trumpington, were taken from under the snow on Monday the 22d ult. where they had been buried since the night of the 11th. - The ewe was dead, but the lamb was lying on the body of its dam, and is now alive.
