Cambridge Chronicle 21 Jul 1815: Susannah Seville imprisoned

At the quarter sessions for this county, on Friday last, James Stamford, for leaving his children chargeable to the parish of Bassingbourn, was sentenced to three months imprisonment, and to be publicly whipped; William West, for stealing a hundred and a half of hay, the property of the Rev. R. Root, of Soham, was sentenced to six months imprisonment; and Susannah Seville, for imposing upon Philip Coville, by pretending to tell his fortune by cards, was also sentenced to be imprisoned six months.
