Cambridge Chronicle 12 Nov 1824: Barnard Lloyd drowned

On Wednesday morning an inquest was taken at the Duke of York public-house, in the parish of St. Mary the Less, before Mr. Chevell, one of the coroners for this town, on view of the body of Barnard Lloyd, an idiot, who was discovered in the run of water near Trumpington bridge, that morning about 7 o’clock. — Verdict, found drowned.
