Cambridge Chronicle 25 Jul 1828: Thefts from John Howard and Frances Bell

John Conington (37) was charged with having feloniously stolen one silk and two cotton handkerchiefs and a shawl, the property of John Howard, of Trumpington; and also with having stolen four gowns, two shawls, and a time-piece, the property of Frances Bell, of Trumpington. Guilty — six months’ hard labour.
