Cambridge General Advertiser 1 Jul 1840: William Willson acquitted of theft

Wm. Willson, aged 22, of Trumpington, labourer, was indicted for stealing a watch, a half-sovereign, five half-crowns and some shillings and half-pence, from Joseph Harton, of Landbeach. — The jury returned a verdict, somewhat to the astonishment of the Court, of not guilty.
