Cambridge Independent Press 26 Feb 1842: Game laws offence on Mr Cawcutt's land

Cambridgeshire Petty Sessions, Saturday Feb. 19, 1842. — Henry Brown was charged with an offence against the game laws, at Trumpington, on land belonging to Mr. Cawcutt. Brown did not appear to answer the charge, but a little pert fellow, names George White, of Cambridge, came forward to pay the fine and expenses, which amounted to £2 16s. 6d.
