Cambridge Independent Press 5 Oct 1850 Robert Darnell fell under cart
Accidents admitted into the Hospital during the Week. — On Friday evening last, Robert Darnell, a young lad residing in Trumpington, met with a very serious accident. It appears that he was riding on a horse drawing a loaded cart, from some cause the horse started forward, and Darnell losing his seat fell under the cart wheel. It was ascertained that several ribs on his left side were broken, and driven into his lungs. The injuries received are of a dangerous character, but hitherto the case has prospered most favourably.
