Cambridge Chronicle 15 Dec 1855: acknowledged trespass on river

TRUMPINGTON.

Acknowledgement of Trespass on the late Colonel Pemberton’s Estate.

We, the undersigned, do hereby acknowledge that we did, on Wednesday, the 5th day of December inst., commit a Trespass, by Rowing a Boat on the River, in the Estate of the late Colonel Pemberton, in the Parish of Trumpington; and we hereby express our regret at having done so, and promise not to repeat the trespass on proceedings against us in this instance being waived.
