Stamford Mercury 6 Aug 1869: Tramps convicted of burglary at John Kefford's house

JOHN GODFREY, 16, and GEO. MURRAY, 17, tramps, who certainly presented anything but the appearance of burglars, were arraigned, charged with burglary in the dwelling-house, with intent to steal therein, of John Kefford, at Trumpington, on the first day of April last. — Mr. Mills prosecuted; the prisoners were undefended. — They were found guilty, and sentenced Murray to 18 months’ hard labour, and Godfrey to nine.
