CAMBRIDGE DIVISION - SATURDAY, August 10.

(Before the Rev. J. Thornhill, Colonel Wale, T.J. Ficklin, Esq., and Rev. F. Shaw).

Frederick Hammond, 46, labourer, Linton, was charged by Geo. Bonus [sic], labourer, Trumpington, with stealing one handkerchief, two brooches, one collar, and piece of cheese, of the value of 6s., at Trumpington, on the 3rd of July, whilst a lodger with the prosecutor. He was convicted, and having been previously sentenced to three months’ imprisonment as a rogue and vagabond, he was now sentenced to three months’ hard labour.

Michael Dillon, 36, labourer, Roscommon, charged by the police with begging at Trumpington, on the 7th of August, was committed for seven days.
