Cambridge Independent Press 7 May 1881: Walter Mansell removed cattle without licence
Walter Mansell, farmer, of Trumpington, was summoned for removing a cow and three heifers without having a license authorising him to do so. – Defendant admitted the offence and pleaded ignorance, saying he thought the county was free. – Deputy Chief Constable Stretten said defendant was cautioned on the 13th, and the offence was committed soon after. – Fined £1 and costs.
