Bury and Norwich Post 30 May 1882: Moore killed at flour mill
SERIOUS EXPLOSION. — A serious case of explosion occurred at a flour mill at Trumpington, Cambs., on Friday week. The boiler on the engine-house burst, and Mr. (Edward) Moore, one of the owners of the mill, was driven some distance, besides being very seriously scalded. He was removed to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he died on Sunday. An inquest was held over the body on Tuesday evening, when a verdict of “Accidental death” was returned.
