Cambridge Independent Press 23 Dec 1882: Parsons sheep sold for Christmas
Mr. George Clark, of Petty-Cury, has provided for this year’s Christmas consumption 35 superior oxen and maiden heifers, including some fine Galloway Roots, Herefords, and pure-bred Shorthorns. The heifers were bred by Messrs. Frost, West Wratting, and grazed by G. Potter, Esq., Hoo Hall, Witham, Essex; two of his own breeding being of great weight, and one Devon ox from the Agricultural Hall, fed by Matthew Dawson, Esq., Newmarket, being highly commended. Fifty Suffolk black-faced sheep from F. Parsons, Esq., Trumpington.
