STEALING WHEAT

Wilson Farrent and James Stearn, labourers, and Henry Wright, shepherd, all of Trumpington, were charged - the first two with stealing, and the latter with receiving - nine stones four pounds of wheat value 9s., the property of Mr. Alfred Jones, of Trumpington, on the 31st of October. — Mr. J. E. L. Whitehead appeared for the prosecution. — The Bench, after hearing evidence, convicted the prisoners, and sentenced each one to three months’ imprisonment, with hard labour.
