CAMBRIDGE DIVISION PETTY SESSIONS

SATURDAY. —Before Hy. W. Pemberton, E. B. Foster, S. Hurrell, and P.T. Gardner, Esqs., and the Rev. C. A. Wilkinson.

HUSBAND AND WIFE.

Charles Dawson Froment, carpenter, of Trumpington, was charged by his wife, Mary, with using threatening language towards her on the 28th of July; he was also charged with having committed an aggravated assault upon her. — Both cases were adjourned for a week.

VAGRANCY.

Jeremiah Froment, carpenter, of Trumpington, was summoned for wandering abroad and lodging under a straw stack, not having any visible means of subsistence. —Defendant admitted the offence, and was sentenced to fourteen days’ imprisonment.
