Cambridge Daily News 7 Nov 1889: Frederick Peters injured by gun

A little boy named Frederick Peters, aged 12, of Trumpington, was admitted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, suffering from a crushed hand. It appeared that the little fellow was playing with a gun when it accidentally went off, tearing off the forefinger of his left hand. He is going on as well as can be expected.
