Cambridge Chronicle 16 May 1890: Nathan Scott watch stolen
AN ABSENTEE — John Yerrill, watchmaker, of Sleaford-street, Cambridge, was charged with having stolen a silver English lever watch, of which he was the bailee, the property of Nathan Scott, bricklayer, of Trumpington, on June 11th, 1899. The defendant did not appear, and the service of the summons was proved by P.c. John Holmes. A warrant was issued for his apprehension.
