Cambridge Independent Press 12 May 1893: Peters cottage fire

TRUMPINGTON

FIRE. - On Sunday a fire broke out in a cottage belonging to Mr. H. W. Pemberton, J. P., occupied by Mr. William Peters, and destroyed a quantity of furniture, &c., valued at about £5, but left the cottage uninjured. It appears that the fire was caused by the chimney next door catching. Mr. Peters was not insured.
