Cambridge Independent Press 23 Aug 1901: Edward Thomas Rogers fell from trap

On Wednesday two horses slipped down in Corn Exchange-street, and their drivers were thrown out of the vehicles and injured. This thoroughfare is now subjected to a considerable amount of traffic in consequence of the road-making operations in St. Andrew’s-street. In the first instance Edward John Simpson, in the employ of Messrs. Shippey, was thrown, and sustained a slight injury to his back. Later, Mr. Edward Thomas Rogers, of Trumpington, was also ejected from his trap, and fractured one of the bones of his wrist.
