Cambridge Daily News 17 Apr 1903: Unicorn licence renewed

Magistrates considered the renewal of the licence of the Unicorn Inn, Trumpington. The accommodation consisted of three bedrooms, two were furnished and used by those living in the house. The third, the guest chamber, was at present bare. The Chairman: Poor guest. Mr Ralkes: He would be a very poor guest who came there. There was no stabling; the landlord did keep a pony and trap, but whether he kept them in the unfurnished room he did not know. (Laughter).
