Cambridge Daily News 16 Jan 1931: death of Elijah Lawrence

Elijah Lawrence learned the trade of blacksmith under his elder brother, James Lawrence of Harston and took over the smithy at Trumpington where he worked for nearly 50 years. He had grown more feeble but a fortnight previously was driving himself in his pony-cart.
