Cambridge Daily News 17 Dec 1947: German PoW lectures

Arranged by the Board of Extra Mural Studies the first of a series of lectures was given by the Mayor in the Guildhall. In a new venture organised to give German prisoners of war a wide, varied and accurate picture of English community life in Cambridge. Twenty-five representative English speaking PoWs from Trumpington camp attended the meeting. The lectures will include talks on the working conditions of a factory and on the administration of the Post Office
