Trumpington Boy Scouts’ new hut marks the culmination of the hopes of the troop which had long desired to establish its own headquarters. The Village Hall Trustees helped find a site, their parents provided voluntary labour, the Lay Committee worked market stalls to augment the ‘Bob-a-Job’ ventures of the boys; it was ‘jolly good teamwork’, said the Mayor.
