Note (1) Will of Joan Whiskin, widow, signed 13 Aug 1647.  10 shillings to the poor of
Trumpington.  Bequests to: William Constable of Grantchester; Richard Casborne
of ?; Joan Rowland of Trumpington; Margaret Rowland; Margaret Ward; Joan Wood;
Joan Jakelyn.  Residue to brother Nicholas Barons and his son Richard
(executor).  £100 to George Barons, son of executor
Note (2) Left to Joan Whiskin, "my beloved" the tenement I now live in in Trumpington,
then to Philip Whiskin the elodest son of my brother Lawrence Whiskin.  Bequests
to John Giles, Philip, Thomas and Mary Salmon.  To my brother Lawrence Whiskin
the close lying in Trumpington containing by estimation 5 roods the east head
abutting upon the Moor Fields and the west head abutting upon the highway
leading through Trumpington to Cambridge, and then to Lawrence Whiskin his son. 
To Jane Baron, the now wife of Nicholas Baron of Trumpington one tenement with a
close thereunto adjoining containing half an acre in Trumpington and 3 acres and
half a rood of arable land thereof used or belonging whereof 5 roods lie in
Cambridge field althogether between two baulks and one half acre and one half
rood lie in Hauxton Field, then to Richard Baron son of Jane Baron.  Bequests
to: George Baron, younger brother of Richard; Anne Chapman my brother's
daughter; Philip Ling; Lawrence Ling; Mary Wybrow my sister's daughter; Anne
Nicholson my sister's daughter; William Constable my wife's kinsman; Joan Wood,
Nicholas Baron's apprentice; Margaret White my servant.  12 shillings to the
poor people of Trumpington to be distributed among them by Nicholas Baron. 
Residue to my now wife Joan Whiskin, executrix
