Bought the Black Swan in Trumpington from Maria Peet and Dorothy Bartlett in 1755, then sold it to Thomas Hide in 1771.
Cambridge Chronicle 13 Oct 1764: At Trumpington, near the Road Side, known by the name of the Black Swan;
To be Let or Sold,
A very good Dwelling-House, fit for a public or private family, with a large Yard, Garden, Stable, and a close of Pasture Ground, adjoining thereto; may be entered upon in February next.
Also a good Malting, that makes Thirty Quarters of Malt in a week, to be entered upon immediately.
