Bought The Chequer, or Boyden's, in Dagling End from Thomas Thackeray in 1772, and sold it to Charles Humfrey in 1784 (no. 93 on Inclosure Award map). Also bought messuage near NW corner of Dagling End (no. 85 on Inclosure Award map) from Mrs Ann Wells (nee Cory) and Mrs Mary Fisher (nee Cory) in 1776; sold to Charles Humfrey in 1784
