Mortgagee for The Chequer, or Boyden's, in Dagling End in 1842 (from Charles Cuming); sold in 1852 by his administrator and son Rev John Hodgson to Mrs Frances Pemberton(no. 93 on Inclosure Award map).
Also for two houses opposite the Coach and Horses, both put up for sale in 1852. Lot 1 (the larger house, formerly the school) an unknown sale. Lot 2 (Alpha Cottage) sold to Mrs Frances Pemberton
