Notes for: John Adams Coombe

Cambridge Independent Press 23 Aug 1845:
Yesterday week the inhabitants of Trumpington presented to the Rev. J. A. Coombe, M.A., Fellow of St John's college, and late curate of that parish, a handsome silver cream-jug and butter-knife, bearing the following inscription: - “Presented by the inhabitants of Trumpington to the Rev. J. A. Coombe, as a token of respect and regret at his departure, Aug. 15, 1845.”
