At the time of the Inclosure Award in 1809 he owned an old inclosure (no. 63 on the Inclosure Award map), now in Grantchester Road where nos 10 - 14 stand. Also granted a new allotment in the Inclosure Award, on the northern edge of Long Road at the corner with Trumpington Road, where now the Old Mill House and 127 - 139 Long Road stand
