In 1911 she bought Lot 6 of the housing land being sold by the Vicar of Trumpington (Dr Bury) on Shelford Road. This was the plot where nos 90, 92, 94, 96 Shelford Road all now stand. Houses all inherited by her son Alfred George Suckling, and then in turn, in 1935, by his widow Priscilla Elizabeth Suckling
