ASSAULT AT TRUMPINGTON,
George Burns, a labourer, of Trumpington, was charged with having assaulted William Lilley, a gardener, also of Trumpington, on the 28th June. - The defendant pleaded guilty. - The complainant stated that while looking at some amusements at the feast a little past eleven o’clock on the evening in question, the defendant came up and said, -"You are the - - - that killed my cat," and struck him on the head. - The Magistrates imposed a fine of 2s. 6d. and costs.
