Notes for: Swann Hurrell

In 1855 the plot of land on the eastern side of Shelford Road, adjoining the boundary with Great Shelford, was owned by a "Mr Hurrell", probably Swann Hurrell. It had been allotted to William Stacey in the 1809 Inclosure Award, and was mentioned in a newspaper advertisement on 26 May 1855 when the neighbouring plot, belonging to William Dobson, was sold
