Notes for: Henry Humphreys

From the Cambridge Chronicle 27 Aug 1763: Stolen, or strayed, from Trumpington. A blind black cart Gelding. Whoever brings the said horse to Henry Humphries (sic) at Trumpington shall be well rewarded for their trouble.
Cambridge Chronicle 14 Jul 1764: To be sold or let at Michaelmas next, at Trumpington,
A Brick House with three rooms on a floor, and exceeding good bedchambers, and all Convenience fit for a small Family; with a close and Orchard adjoining of about two acres of ground: the whole has been lately put into the best repair.
Enquire of Mr Humphries (sic) of Trumpington.
Likewise a very good modern built Coach with harness etc. complete, to be sold. Enquire as above.

In 1790 bought property in Grantchester Road (no. 61 on Inclosure Award map) from Samuel Bentley, Tailor.
