Notes for: William Stacey
At the time of the Inclosure process (1801 - 1809) he owned one old inclosure (no. 28) in Trumpington. This was on the east side of High Street, approximately where the Village Hall now stands, stretching back to the modern boundary between Scotsdowne Road and Paget Road. He was also granted a new allotment on the east side of Shelford Road, right against the Shelford boundary, where nos 173 - 181 Shelford Road now stand. By 1855 that land was owned by Swann Hurrell
