Notes for: John Utteridge

Bought "Piggotts" (no. 62 on Inclosure Award map, where nos 6- 8 Grantchester Road now stand ) from Susannah Prior in 1799. Also granted a new allotment in the Inclosure Award fronting onto Trumpington Road, north of Long Road, where North Cottages and other houses now stand, up to the boundary with the Perse Prep School (formerly Leighton House built by Robert Sayle). All left in his will to his step-son John Nightingale
