Notes for: Sidney James Miller
From http://www.millersands.com/about-us/:
Mr Sidney James Miller first put up his plate as a solicitor in Petty Cury in Cambridge on the 18th April 1893. He practiced alone until he was joined by his son Sidney Tomsett Miller in 1925. The firm of SJ & ST Miller survived the death of Mr Miller senior in 1940, and continued to practice from 20 St Andrews Street. When Mr Miller junior died in 1967, five new partners took over the running of the firm, and it became known as Miller & Co. The firm moved to 75-79 Regent Street in 1973, where it remained for 35 years.
In 1999, anticipating the retirement of partner Rosemary Sands, at that time a very well known divorce lawyer in Cambridge, the firm changed its name to Miller Sands. It is now six years since Miller Sands relocated to Impington, just outside Cambridge city centre
