Notes for: William Worboys

In 1902 he bought land on the eastern side of the High Street - Shelford Road junction (nos. 18 and 19 on Inclosure Award map) from Charles Scott (who had immediately before this bought it from Sarah and Frances Goodwin). After his death the plot which would become 1 Shelford Road (Clydebank) was sold to William Barker of Panton Street, Cambridge.
