Notes for: Grace Blyth
She was a friend of the sisters Agnes Lewis and Margaret Dunlop Gibson (both nee Smith). They are the subjects of "Sisters Of Sinai: How Two Lady Adventurers Found the Hidden Gospels"
by Janet Soskice, in which Grace Blyth gets mentioned several times. On p.96 Soskice writes "The twins bought (Grace) a substantial house with gardens on the road to the nearby village of Trumpington, where she lived ...". They were her executors, and were living with her and her mother in London in 1871 and 1881. According to http://www.cuh.org.uk/cuh/services/non_clin/archive/history/related_hospitals.html Douglas House was built on land leased to Mrs Margaret Dunlop Gibson from Trinity College. There is a duplicate agreement in the Trinity College archives dated 19 May 1890 with Mrs Margaret Dunlop Gibson to build on a piece of land fronting the Trumpington Road
