Notes for: Stanley Gentle
No baptism found. Deaf and dumb from birth.
Antony Pemberton writes: When I started in 1964 there was a Mr. Gentle living in the thatched cottage 52 High Street. He was deaf and dumb. When you rang the front door bell a ping pong ball was released and would swing across the sitting room.
When he died we renovated the property. We found a WW1 service revolver in the chimney of the bread oven!
