

At the meeting on 20 February 2025, Jo Sear discussed the importance of the manorial system in the late medieval and early modern periods and the history of the various manors in Trumpington and their influence on the lives of ordinary people
Jo Sear has spent some years writing and teaching about the economic and social history of late Medieval England, including the role and importance of manors. She has lived in Trumpington for a few years and has more recently been researching the manors of Trumpington. Jo is a member of the Local History Group Committee. The meeting was chaired by Andrew Roberts.
