| Trumpington Local History Group Launch of History Trails: 24 November 2016 |
| Launch of Trumpington History Trails 24 November 2016, Trumpington Pavilion The Trumpington History Trails were launched at this meeting. The trails have been developed by the Trumpington Residents’ Association and the Trumpington Local History Group, with support from Cambridge City Council. Printed copies are available free of charge from Trumpington Pavilion. Howard Slatter opened the evening by welcoming participants and Andrew Roberts gave a brief summary of the development of the trails, from the first proposal in November 2010. Rebecca Green and Fiona Gilsenan from the Wildlife Trust introduced the app which has been launched for Trumpington Meadows County Park and Nature Reserve. Vicky Haywood, Cambridge City Council, congratulated the TRA and TLHG for the Trails and looked forward to their use. |
