There were around 35 participants at this second meeting about local roads. Speakers:
Shirley Brown talked about Alpha Terrace , with information contributed by Peter Dawson and Sheila Glasswell;
Howard Slatter and Andrew Roberts talked about the Estate , including the history of its design and construction, a conversation with Brenda Bass who moved into a new home on 27 December 1946, a history of the allotments and the development of King George V Playing Field.
