The meeting on Thursday 12 March 2020, in Trumpington Village Hall, began with three talks about the village in the 1920s:

map evidence for the layout of the parish (Howard Slatter);
• the aftermath of War, post-war peace celebrations and ideas for a war memorial (Andrew Roberts);
local sports clubs: tennis, bowls, cricket and football (Wendy Roberts).

Janet Hendy, the president of Trumpington Women’s Institute, then talked about the history of the Women’s Institute movement and displayed the banner and scrapbooks from Trumpington Women’s Institute, founded 100 years ago in 1920.

Indoor meetings were then cancelled until October 2022, due to the Covid pandemic.
