The Trumpington History Trails were launched at this meeting. The trails were developed by the Trumpington Residents’ Association and the Trumpington Local History Group, with support from Cambridge City Council.
Howard Slatter opened the evening by welcoming participants and Andrew Roberts gave a brief summary of the development of the trails, from the first proposal in November 2010. Rebecca Green and Fiona Gilsenan from the Wildlife Trust introduced the app which has been launched for Trumpington Meadows County Park and Nature Reserve. Vicky Haywood, Cambridge City Council, congratulated the TRA and TLHG for the Trails and looked forward to their use.
